For the Trans, it all starts with the Artistic, therefore all roads of cultural action lead to the Trans’ musics.

Around a concert, a privileged encounter between the artist and the spectator, cultural action gives the chance to experiment new relations between audience and festival.

Starting in November, KALEIDOSCOPE invites the residents of the Ille-et-Vilaine department to a concentration of festival events: Trans on Tour concerts, dance performances, workshops...
At the same time, groups of youngsters will begin creating a project that will take them to the heart of the Parc Expo, where they will meet with the participants of CULTURE(S) EN TRANS (16 to 25, from Rennes Metropole) for three days of total musical immersion.

Discovering secrets of the festival’s behind the scenes is what GUIDES ET INCURSIONS are all about: visits and tailored encounters, while the conference-concerts of the JEU DE L’OUÏE offer guidelines to decode the Trans’ eclectic programme.

More and more decoding with the roundtables of RENCONTRES & DÉBATS, they allow exchanges concerning current problems affecting the cultural sector

and, in a larger sense, question the changes disrupting our society.
In the Village, designed as a connection platform for our different worlds and a real doorway to the festival, MÉMOIRES DE TRANS take also part in the laying of historical markers. They also serve as a live memory through the public display of inventories and the digitisation of the archives of the festival’s first ten years.

And last but not least TRANS DANS LES PRISONS, gives inmates in Rennes the chance to take an active part in the Trans Musicales event by giving performances in detention centres.

Unique and multi faced tool, the cultural action at the Trans helps bridge the gaps between different audiences and has no other objective than welcoming them and accompanying them in a wonderful journey in the heart of today’s musical creation.
