Like Pastry Case, Troy Gronsdahl, aka Soso, has another vision concerning hip-hop. Coming from a village in the province of Saskatchewan, Sakatoon, the young man runs his own label (Clothes Horse Records), and is the author of several albums, out of which one was re-edited by Kütu Folk, Tinfoil on the Windows. Acoustic incursions and electric detours, Troy lays his flow on melancholic beats, juggling with genres (pop, soul, rock), in short story-like songs. He will revisit this repertoire at the Aire Libre, flanked by a string quartet and the musicians of the Delano Orchestra.
